The Ribbon Reel Challenge #4

It's Pauline's turn to host this fortnight and she has asked us to create a card or project using the inspiration photo plus colours Blue, Kraft, Black and Grey/Silver (with the added option to make a Father's Day/ masculine card).

There's this gorgeous bundle of ribbons, lace, velvet trim, flowers and more as our prize giveaway.

Soft Velvet Ric Rac

Look at these beautiful soft velvet ric rac ribbons, we are just about to add them to the shop.

Cherry Blossom or Gardenia?

After several requests from customers, we have recently introduced these beautiful handmade paper flowers. Along with ribbon, they make the ideal finishing touch to any card or project.

45mm Paper Roses in Cream and White with Pink (as above).

25mm Hybrid Tea Roses in various colours including Sweet Rosy Pink (above).

Cherry Blossoms sold in bunches of 5 in various colours including Yellow (above).

These large Gardenia Blossoms come in White, Cream, Red and Cornflower (above).

Ribbon Rose Tutorial

It seems everyone is enjoying making roses out of different materials these days, and we are no exception, preferring to make ours out of ribbon! Isn't this ribbon rose just beautiful?

The very talented Clare Buswell recently used one of these ribbon roses on card for sketch Challenge #3.

Clare has very kindly shared a step by step tutorial on how to create one, which can be found on her blog here.
